11:21pm: Quote of the day: "If Lancelot was e.. emas..  emasculated, then does that mean he was actually a woman?" - Fellow university student

That's all I have to say.

7:07pm: You know what I hate? When I start the vacuum, it SPITS UP EVERYTHING IT SUCKED UP THE LAST TIME.

..so I re-vacuum it and I end up with the vacuum/machine-age equivalent of that annoying little line of dirt you can never pick up with a broom and dustpan.
I end up turning off the vacuum to arrange the dirt in a suck-up-able pile, turn the vacuum back up.. AND IT THROWS UP AGAIN.

....I know what I want for the holidays.

1:53pm: I love libraries with wireless :)
taking break at the library. 3 pages in two hours! about seven sources! not.. so bad. I'm still fully aware that this is baby-work compared to what I'll be facing at university, though. guh

I don't get why people go to libraries just to sit there and DO SUDOKU while staring at everyone who goes by. FOR HOURS. edit: AND HUM.

I miss mexican subway and its avocadoes. man. so hungry.

I have an hour and fifteen minutes until I have to meet sonny. I'm bored of working though. and I'm hungry. ..and my library card's invalid.

what to do.

..The second figure from the left in Picasso's Les Demoiselles d'Avignon really strongly reminds me of the little girl in the Emperor's New Groove. I think there's something wrong with me.

9:13pm: I've more or less finished my intro for my Quebec history paper, due on Friday. I feel entitled to be finding things on youtube now, like this guy, who set the Guinness World Record for wearing 155 shirts at once.

What an achievement, right there.

10:53pm: I was told that if I like Imogen Heap, I'd definitely like Camille. This is the link that's supposed to win me over.

I have to say, she's not quite as weird as these guys (slightly nsfw: man-butt) ), whose acoustic rendition of Bonnie Tyler's "Total Eclipse of the Heart" involves a .. washing machine (?) and the violent destruction of a stove/oven but she's.. definitely up there in my Weird-But-Might-Just-Grow-On-Me category, though. Might being the operative word.

(Although now that I watch Bonnie Tyler's original video ) I can't quite say that it's the most .. "normal" video [ballet-dancing nearly-naked ninjas? The bright-eyed student at the end? The random doors?] around, either.)

..and I'm done fixing up my clearly brilliant demonstration of html skillz. whoops.

According to a press release, "set lists for the shows will draw heavily on the newer material the band has been working on over the past months. The performances will take place in smaller than usual venues, and will feature appropriately scaled down staging and lighting design, creating a suitably intimate environment for the first ever airings of several new songs."
